Bar/Restaurant/Motel
This (Bar /Restaurant/Motel) is located in the town of Puerto Jimenez on the beautiful "Peninsula de Osa". It is located only 125 meters from the local airport and 400 meters from the beach. It has been an integral part of the local history since 1978. It's friendly owners have cultivated an extremely amicable relationship with the local animal population; so it comes as no surprise to the return guests when they are delightfully entertained by the local monkeys, raccoons, iguanas and a huge variety of birds such as toucans, scarlet macaws parrots to name but just a few. This is a guaranteed thing, not a once in a while possibility. As a matter of fact on my last visit a raccoon walked right into my room to try and get some of the locally grown vanilla that I was taking home with me. The owners have sighted and listed the following local flora and fauna found on their property: 28 bird varieties, 12 mammal species, 18 butterflies types and 85 species of plants. The property which is 7000 square meters is comprised of 10 cabins in two distinct areas, beautiful gardens as well as quite a bit of natural mangrove. The restaurant and bar are of the tropical variety with complete new cement and iron construction. It has more than ample parking. The bar is a favorite with locals as well as the large numbers of tourists that return on a regular basis. The kitchen facilities are huge and the restaurant has earned a reputation as being a great place to eat with super prices (the bar prices are really good as well, I speak from experience). The owners are well liked by all and will definitely enhance any visitors stay to the area with their abundant local knowledge. This is a titled property with all paperwork in order and includes telephone lines as well as liquor license. Price: $285,000.00 US or will consider offers where partner wishes to work the business with less money for purchase of 50%.
